About Us
Midlakes Water Polo is a recreational league that emphasizes sportsmanship, education, skill development, and participation through friendly competition. Participants must be active, dues-paying members of current Midlakes Clubs in good standing. Water Polo is open to any member of the 27 Midlakes Teams.
 | Kingsgate Water Polo Team Founded in 2014 by Pat Monson and Annie Price with the hopes of creating a small, learning water polo team within the Kingsgate Community, our team consists of players from Kingsgate 1&2, 3&4 and 5, as well as High Woodlands. Our 2022 slogan is “Four Pools, Together as One Team“. In 2021, our 10&U won the Midlakes League Water Polo Championship in a hard fought game and our 14&U reached the finals! The continued support of our Community and the leadership of our returning Coach Tate Anderson, has lead to our successful Midlakes Water Polo team. | |
 | Tate Anderson – Head Coach I am so excited to be back for my 7th year as the Kingsgate Water Polo Head Coach! I’m 22 years old, the Kingsgate Royals Swim Team Assistant Coach and a lifeguard at the 1&2 pool. Kingsgate Water Polo was the first place I was introduced to the sport and I had such a good experience I joined Kirkland’s Wave Water Polo, so I could continue playing year-round. In addition, I played 3 years of water polo for Inglemoor High School. My favorite part of coaching our summer Kingsgate Water Polo Team is observing kids that come back year after year, who continue to grow and get better at the sport. Also, I love to see new kids try water polo every year and I hope to give anyone that joins our team a positive, fun experience! I am so excited to get started, I’ll see you all soon! |

Registration Deadline: Friday, July 22, 2022
Not ready to get out of the pool yet? Try Midlakes Water Polo! This fun and fast, four-week co-ed program includes 3 weeks of practice and regular season games, followed by Tournament and Championship games the final week. No prior Water Polo experience is necessary.
The Midlakes Water Polo League returns this season July 25 – August 21!
All paperwork MUST be filled out completely and signed in order to participate!
Practice & Games Schedule
Our Water Polo season is: July 25 – August 21
Practice will be held at the Kingsgate Royals pool every Monday – Wednesday, with league games being held Thursday – Sunday, split by age group.
