The 2023 Kingsgate Royals Coaching Team are here to support your swimmer’s needs.
Open communication between families and the Coaches is vitally important so we have a single, dedicated email address they access throughout the Season.
We request that parents do not approach the Coaching Team during practice as this is dedicated training time and they need to ensure their attention is focused on swimmers in the pool.
To communicate any questions or concerns regarding workouts, meets, events, goal setting or other swimming-related needs, please email the Kingsgate Royals Coaching Team.
Practices: For information about practices, please review our Practice Guidelines page.
Meets: Please ensure each swimmer’s are declared “yes” or “no” by 12pm Friday the week before each dual meet. For more information about meets, please review our Meet Guidelines page.
Tate Anderson – Co-Head Coach
![]() | This is my 2nd year coaching the Kingsgate Royals Swim Team and I am the Head Coach for the Kingsgate Water Polo Team since 2016. I swam for the Royals for 11 years and swam for the Inglemoor High School swim team for 3 years. For the last school year, I have been working as a substitute paraeducator at Woodmoor Elementary and hope to get a full-time position next year. I’m super excited to meet all the new swimmers this year and hopefully see some familiar faces, as well. I can’t wait to get started! Go Royals! |
Emma Ulvin – Co-Head Coach
![]() | For as long as I can remember, the Kingsgate Royal Swim Team has played a large part of my summers. I started swimming for the Royals when I was six and continued till I graduated. Throughout that time I also competed as a club swimmer on my year round team and on my high school team. I just finished my second year at the University of Arizona where I am studying to get my Bachelors of Science in Nursing. I taught swim lessons at Kingsgate 1&2 pool for 3 years and have worked with many of the current swimmers on the team today. This is my first summer coaching for the Royals and I could not be more excited to share my love for swimming and this team with others. Looking forward to a fun summer. Go Royals! |
